The skinning of the day from the night Miracle - mentioned in the Noble Quran and confirmed by Science!

1- Allah Almighty's Divine Claim in Noble Verse 36:37 and the Scientific Proofs:

This article is based on Dr. Zaghlool Al-Najjar's [2] work; may Allah Almighty always be pleased with him.

Allah Almighty Said: "We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and inside their selves, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"

In my previous article, I've written a detailed article on The sun rays that we see during the day are different from the ones seen in space - mentioned in the Noble Quran and confirmed by Science! Allah Almighty precisely Said in the Noble Quran that He Created the sun's brightness, and He Created the day on earth to reveal its light. As clearly shown in the article with ample pictures, scientific quotes, and a video on astronomy, it is absolutely a true fact that while we have a bright day here on earth, the space above us is absolutely black! Allah Almighty also precisely mentioned this in the Noble Quran! This precisely means that we wouldn't have any day light if it wasn't for the day-layer that Allah Almighty Created, which He mentioned in the Noble Quran. The Universe by default is absolutely dark (see the Noble Verses below). The light has to be especially processed in order for it to be seen with our naked eyes. The sun rays in space are not yellowish-white as we see them during our day here on earth. They are rather extremely dark and bluish. Please see the article for ample proofs and details.

These pictures reveal how the layers of the day and the night look like from space.

These two pictures reveal the skinning of the day-layer from the night-layer.

That is why Allah Almighty Said:

"And He is the One Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Each is afloat in its orbit. (The Noble Quran, 21:33)"

There are also ample other Noble Verses. The night and the day are two different entities, and they are separate entities from the sun and the moon. They are not created by the sun and the moon. The day, through its own unique characteristics, transforms the sun's very dark radiant lights into shinning and very bright lights, on earth.

This article takes these scientific facts that I mentioned above further. Allah Almighty Said in the Noble Quran that He (literally) SKINS the day from the night as a Sign for humans to bring the darkness of night to them. This means that darkness is the default stage of our universe and the day is only a layer that is on top of the dark night, and without this layer, there wouldn't be any day for us on earth. Let us look at Noble Verse 36:37:

Actually, none of the above English translations is quite accurate, even though most of them are very close to being accurate such as using "strip" and "remove". The Arabic word, نسلخ naslakh, literally means TO SKIN, as in skinning an animal, or to PEEL OFF as in peeling an orange. This is well-known in Arabic and also according to Dr. Zaghlool Al-Najjar [2] in his lecture. So what does this mean? Well, let us look at the following pictures.

According to Dr. Zaghlool Al-Najjar [2], the sun's brightness gets shown to us as yellowish-white light from the earth's "day-layer" (tabaqat al-nahar), which is the last layer between earth and space. Dr. Al-Najjar said that this layer is approximately 200 kilometers thick. Notice the tenth picture (counting from left to right) of the shooting rocket, and how he is about to exit the tabaqat al-nahar and enter into the absolute black space. Notice how he is on the border between earth's atmosphere and the outer space. Notice also the tabaqat al-nahar is clearly defined in the top pictures, above, along with the rest of them.

"And He is the One Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Each is afloat in its orbit. (The Noble Quran, 21:33)"

Also, as the rest of the above pictures clearly reveal, there is a thin layer/line that seems to visually separate the bright earth during its bright day from the absolute black space. This perfectly explains why Allah Almighty Said that He Created the sun's brightness, and He Created the day to reveal its brightness, because without this day-layer that Allah Almighty Created, the sun's brightness wouldn't get revealed to us and we would live in constant darkness. Now, since science has thoroughly proven that the outside space is absolutely black, even during our brightest day on earth, then this means that everything by default is dark. Total darkness is the default and original state of our universe. Allah Almighty clearly stated this in the Noble Quran:

"Surely, your Lord is ALLAH, who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, then HE settled Himself firmly on the Throne. HE makes the night cover the day, which it pursues swiftly, And HE created the sun and the moon and the stars - all made subservient by HIS command. Verily, HIS is the creation and the command. Blessed is ALLAH, Lord of the worlds. (The Noble Quran, 7:54)"

"And He it is Who spread the earth and made in it firm mountains and rivers, and of all fruits He has made in it two kinds; He makes the night cover the day; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect. (The Noble Quran, 13:3)"

"Another proof is the night! When We skins the day off it, they are left in the dark! (The Noble Quran, 36:37)"

"And We have made the night and the day two signs, then We have made the sign of the night to pass away and We have made the sign of the day manifest, so that you may seek grace from your Lord, and that you might know the numbering of years and the reckoning; and We have explained everything with distinctness. (The Noble Quran, 17:12)"

"Of course, the creation of the heavens and the earth, as well as the (contrast and) alternation between the night and the day offer (many) signs for those with intellect. (The Noble Quran, 3:190)"

"Do they not consider that We have made the night that. they may rest therein, and the day to give light? Most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe. (The Noble Quran, 27:86)"

"He it is Who made for you the night that you might rest in it, and the day giving light; most surely there are signs in it for a people who would hear. (The Noble Quran, 10:67)"

"That is because Allah causes the night to enter into the day and causes the day to enter into the night, and because Allah is Hearing, Seeing. (The Noble Quran, 22:61)"

"Do you not see that Allah makes the night to enter into the day, and He makes the day to enter into the night, and He has made the sun and the moon subservient (to you); each pursues its course till an appointed time; and that Allah is Aware of what you do? (The Noble Quran, 31:29)"

"And He has made subservient to you the sun and the moon pursuing their courses, and He has made subservient to you the night and the day. (The Noble Quran, 14:33)"

"And He has made subservient for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are made subservient by His commandment; most surely there are signs in this for a people who ponder; (The Noble Quran, 16:12)"

"Allah turns over the night and the day; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight. (The Noble Quran, 24:44)"

"And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. (The Noble Quran, 25:62)"

Allah Almighty's Divine Statement in Noble Verse 36:37, above, about the SKINNING of the day from the night to bring back the darkness of night is in perfect agreement with science, because:

1- Like animals' skins being attached to their flesh, our thin-layered day is attached to our night, and without this layer, we would live in constant darkness.

2- As the earth rotates around its own axle while it's rotating around the sun, the day gets slowly and surely skinned off from the absolute black night as the sun slowly moves away from the area that it was sending its brightness on. Again, remember that there wouldn't be any day on earth if it wasn't for the day-layer that Allah Almighty Created, which He precisely mentioned in the Noble Quran.

Note: By the way, Allah Almighty never Said that the sun goes to sleep and/or extinguishes for any night. Allah Almighty said that the sun is light and the moon's light is a reflected light of the sun, which means that the sun is always shining, even during the night, because its light reflects off of the moon, as mentioned in the Noble Quran. 3- Since everything is night by default, then the day is indeed physically part of the night and is attached to it, - exactly as the skin is attached to the flesh. The way it gets skinned off of the night is through the earth's rotation around its own axle while it is rotating around the sun. Again, the Noble Quran is filled with scientific statements and notions. These are statements of Allah Almighty describing how He created things on earth and in the Universe. What's most amazing is that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to be in perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific discoveries. Allah Almighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood. The Holy Book certainly stood the test of time 1,500 years ago with Its Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous language eloquence, and it does again and again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreement with science and discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.

As we've clearly seen in this article and in the pictures above, Allah Almighty's Divine Statement about Him skinning the day off of the night is indeed a perfect statement that perfectly agrees with science:

The skinning of the day from the night causes for the day-layer, tabaqat al-nahar, to be moved to where sun is
facing, hence, it gets peeled off of our atmospheric layer, which by default is dark according to Noble Verses
7:54 and 13:3, above.

Scientists have just recently proven that our outside space is absolutely black, which makes our world night and black by default, and that the sun's rays are extremely dark and bluish. The yellowish-white light that we see on earth during the day is the processed sun's brightness from our "day-layer", which is approximately 200 miles thick. Allah almighty declared in the Noble Quran that He Created the sun's brightness, and that He Created the day on earth to reveal its light. As clearly shown in my previous and main article with ample pictures, scientific quotes, and a video on astronomy, it is absolutely a true fact that while we have a bright day here on earth, the space above us is absolutely black! The Universe by default is absolutely dark. The light has to be especially processed in order for it to be seen with our naked eyes. With all of this sound evidence established from both the Noble Quran and Science, it is little wonder to see why Allah Almighty Chose the Arabic word SKIN-OFF نسلخ to describe the rotation of the day and the night around our planet, in the Noble Quran. It is the day that reveals the sun's brightness as a processed light to keep our life going. The very fact that Allah Almighty precisely mentioned this and elaborated on it further with ample Noble Verses, in the Noble Quran, is indeed a Divine Testimony about the Truthfulness of the Noble Quran and the Truthfulness of the Prophethood, of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Indeed, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty alone for making the Noble Quran be the Perfect and Everlasting Miracle, for us humans, out of all of His Divine Miracles! And may Allah Almighty send His Peace, Mercy and Blessings upon our Beloved and Blessed Prophet, Teacher and Role Model, Muhammad. Ameen.

The S-shaped moon orbit!

It is also relevant to know that Allah Almighty described the shape of the moon's entire orbit around the earth as a shape of an old and dried-out date tree's branch, also scientifically known and confirmed today as S-shaped. The shape of the old and dried-out branch of a date tree does resemble the letter "S". I provided images in the article that prove this.

The egg-shaped earth's orbit!

This is not the only time Allah Almighty used a notion for astronomy. In another Noble Verse, He described the shape of the earth's orbit around the sun as egg-shaped which had also been confirmed by science.
